About /

Sam is a British designer who graduated from Kingston University in 2013 with a First Class Degree in Product & Furniture design.

Sam's work is very much about simple ideas realised through process and manufacturing techniques.  He likes engaging with research and development in a hands on approach which often starts with a factory or supplier visit.  This provides an invaluable insight into the world of making, which Sam combines with enthusiasm and a keen attention to detail.

Aside from working on his own projects, Sam is also a Project Manager at 2MZ, a specialist design and fabrication studio in Brixton.

Sam has also worked with Heal's, Edward Philips Interiors and New Balance on a live project for the 2012 Olympics.

Sam's first range of furniture is available to buy at Heal's as part of the Heal's Discovers collection.
